Make Yourself at Home

The third new remix/mashup of some original tunes by Calzo Houdini and some tunes by The Streets.
The track features the Giggs track ‘Slow Songs’ which was produced by Mike Skinner and remixed by Callum James Greens of Calzo Houdini, Original Pirate Material, Trust Me & Everything is Borrowed. Other people on the track, Ted Mayhem. Enjoy.

With You Forever

The original track was written and recorded by the Australian group PNAU and featured Luke Steele from The Sleepy Jackson on Vocals. Luke would later go on to form Empire of The Sun with Nick Littlemore of PNAU.

Calzo Houdin went one step further from remixing  and re-recorded an all new score to compliment Luke Steele’s vocals. The track was recorded between October-November 2009 in Edinburgh, Scotland by Callum James Greens, Larissa Dahlbeck and the worldtime quartet.

During the summer of ’09, Mike Skinner or The Streets as he’s commonly know, recorded and released a bunch of free tracks on twitter. It was with Mike’s permission that Calzo Houdini remixed one of those tracks and completely ripped it apart and put the CH twist on. Full orchestra poetry from Calzo Houdini & The Streets. Trust Me!

Another  Calzo Houdini twist on a Streets classic. Skinner’s ‘Has it come to this’ was mashed up and re-titled by Calzo Houdini as it doesn’t even mention the original song’s title in this version. It’s a sound system banger as The Street’s Heads would say.

This is volume one of The Bangkok Hotel Tracks. These are demo recordings that were made in various hotels across Thailand during the first DimeRock Records world tour in December ’09. Some have been released for you to download and a the others will be re-recorded and featured on the first Calzo Houdini LP ‘How To Kill Friends & Influence People’, which will be available in the Summer 2010.
