Emi was born April 11, 1986 and
grew up in Sacramento, California.
She studied Anthropology and
Culinary Arts before going to the
Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and
Graphic Art, graduating in 2010.

She's married to Garry Brown
and has two cats, a dog, and a
collection of goggles and swords.
She drinks far too much coffee
and her favorite foods are chirashi,
unagidon, her mother-in-law's
mashed potatoes, and her
father's Chinese Five Spice ribs.
